Emails can now be viewed in their original rich HTML format and now offer the ability to visit embedded links. Microsoft Office Word Mobile features include spell-check, Find and Replace commands, bulleted lists, text formatting, and support for tables for the first time. With Excel Mobile, you're not just confined to editing charts: with the new Chart Wizard you can create charts quickly and easily. PowerPoint Mobile allows you to view the full presentation, rehearse timings, check the order and any live links you may have in your presentation. You can then email comments back to the team or communicate via MSN Messenger for an immediate response. After creating or editing a Word document or Excel spreadsheet, you can synchronize it with your PC and it will automatically be converted to the PC version.

All Windows Mobile 6 powered devices include Direct Push Technology for up-to-date e-mail delivery and automatic synchronization of Outlook calendars, tasks and contacts through Microsoft Exchange Server. It also offers a set of important device security and management features that include the capability to remotely wipe all data from a device should it be lost or stolen, helping ensure that confidential information remains that way.

What Customers Say About Samsung BlackJack II Phone, Red Wine (AT&T):

The Screen freezes. Before the end of the 12 months warranty I started to encounter problems. I tried to get a new one but I was sent a re-conditioned one and that's event worse. The battery would go flat within minutes. The keys get stuck. Do not get this phone. Even 1 star is being generous.

The full keyboard was really refreshing too. It would drop calls in "full bar" areas. The wheel was a nice touch as compared to pushing an arrow pad. It had so many more features than my RAZRs and the PEBL I bought. This was my first "smartphone". All in all, an unbelievably bad phone. So, if you do not have a need to put your SIM card into a device and just want a cool little gadget, get this piece of electronic technology. A battery removal would be necessary. Now onto the main event. The service/reception abilities of this "phone" were absolutely embarassing. Ok, so that was alarming, but fixable. The wheel, as you have probably read on other reviews around the internet, is loose and unresponsive feeling.I would lock the keypad, but would be unable to unlock it sometimes.

It would drop current calls with 1-2 bars. The size was good as it fit in my pocket easily and was fairly easy to type on even with the tiny buttons (which are raised enough to press with my fat fingers).Unfortunatly the fun stopped there. The phone was a little buggy after about a month of using it. At first, I thought it was great. It would have 1-2 bars and be unable to start a new call. I thought I was sold. Nothing too major and easily overcome by removing the battery. It would need perfect placement to send a text message in low reception areas. But if you are looking for a cell phone and you don't live 2 miles from your carrier's tower, look elsewhere. In comparison, I now own a Blackberry brand phone.the call quality and call reception is miles beyond the capabilities of the Samsung Blackjack 2.

I have heard that some of the earlier blackjack 2 phones having problems, but mine and phones of others I know work fine. I have the blue one (was going to get the pink but they were out) and it is a huge improvement over my old sony ericson flip phone. I love this phone. I don't know about the internet usage because I do not use the internet on my phone. It is so much easier to text message. The battery life is also good because I can talk for almost seven hours on one charge and it can sit four almost two weeks without me having to charge it. I would recommend the colored ones because the backs are less slick than the black colored one. I almost got the palm centro but I am glad I got this phone instead.

Honestly it's better for me and what I need than the iPhone. Before my original iPhone bit the dust (my own dumb fault) I had been awaiting the arrival of the Blackberry Bold (I had been a religious Blackberry user for just about ever) but since the release date kept getting pushed back and my phone died I had to get something. So I gave in. It's a great basic PDA. Also could have used a car charger but it oddly did not come with one. I got this neat-o red one with the faux leather back, I must say it's a pretty nice looking phone.

The only complaint is the delay when you get to typing fast. A lot of people I know have a Blackjack II and swear by it. I even synced it to my Apple with the MissingSync software. It works well for me. Texting is a breeze, the calendar is amazing, the software is pretty basic. It's nothing too terrible but it can be annoying.

Other than that it sounds great and works well.

I admit I don't playback vid or mp3 songs on this as I mainly use it to stay connected and read eMail while on the road, so I don't have an opinion on the odd-ball headphone jack. I skipped the first gen. back then as I was using a Treo at the time, and I almost got an iPh but after much debate and comparisons I chose the new 3G Blkjk ii in blue.Overall, I'm satisfied. The downloads are noticably faster with 3G.Display and kbd are all good and actually I find the thumb-wheel very handy, not sure why so many folks dinged the review of that. My experience with eMail and calendar updates sync' over the air without the need to sync using USB cable is excellent. In that respect it scores 5 stars as the client installation went without a hitch on first try.Voice quality of calls is good too.For future models, my only suggestion is to re-vamp UI and take advantage of some touch technology to drop the soft-keys but do keep the querty kbd intact.
